The conference is organized by PPEU (European Pirate Party), or European Pirates for short, in collaboration with Pirate Parties International (PPI). PPI as an organisation works as the umbrella structure for Pirate Parties worldwide, helping coordinate to achieve goals such as digital rights, transparency, and freedom of information. PPEU is European-level political alliance that functions as a federation of national Pirate Parties within Europe.
